Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Coolie is set to release on the 14th and has already shattered records in India and abroad with its unprecedented advance booking numbers.
The movie set a new record by selling 1.2 million tickets on the nation's top ticket marketplace just two days before its premiere, which was the most ever for an Indian movie before its premiere and caused a national frenzy.
A true pan-India box office takeover appears imminent as the advance booking juggernaut has swept through the Tamil, Telugu, and international markets while also gaining significant traction for its Hindi version.
Global advance booking collections have already topped an incredible Rs 50 crore, according to trade website reports, and the momentum is still growing.
After starting pre-sales abroad, Coolie opened reservations in India, where sales began sporadically on Friday.

The Telugu and Kannada versions have had a successful opening, but the Tamil version leads with almost Rs 10 crore. Even though it is currently lagging, the Hindi version is anticipated to catch up as the day of release draws near.

With premiere advance sales of USD 1.7 million (roughly Rs 14 crore), including USD 1.45 million from the USA alone, where over 56,000 tickets have been sold, the North American market has produced astounding figures internationally.
A Rs 400 crore mega-production, Coolie boasts a dream ensemble cast featuring Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Pooja Hegde, all under the direction of mass cinema master Lokesh Kanagaraj.
