Sushmita Sen’s brother, Rajeev Sen, has been entangled in a dramatic custody battle with his ex-wife and TV actress, Charu Asopa. He has frequently expressed his disappointment over not being able to meet his daughter, Ziana.
However, Rajeev has recently reunited with his daughter after Charu invited him and her former mother-in-law to her Bikaner home for Ganpati celebrations. She shared a vlog on the moment on her YouTube.
In the video, Rajeev, along with his mother, went to Ziana's school to pick her up. Ziana ran into Rajeev and her grandmother's arms and hugged them as soon as she saw them.
The video later showed Charu welcoming Rajeev and her mother-in-law at her home in true Rajasthani style, with band, bajaa, tikaa, and vibrant festive cheer.
Ziana also danced to the dhol beats with her father. In her most recent vlog, Charu also disclosed that she had made minor interior adjustments to accommodate Bappa. To make room for the Ganpati setup, she moved her dining table and rearranged the furnishings.
She also made sure that Rajeev and his mother had a comfortable stay during the celebrations.
Rajeev also documented his trip from Delhi to Rajasthan. Just before landing in Bikaner, he had a video chat with his daughter. Rajeev also shared a video of himself playing with her daughter on his Instagram Story.

Previously, Rajeev had accused Charu of keeping Ziana away from him. He also claimed that Charu moved to Bikaner without informing him.
For the unversed, Rajeev and Charu tied the knot in a three-day destination wedding in Goa. The wedding ceremony took place on June 16, 2019. They welcomed their daughter Ziana in 2021. However, the couple got divorced after four years of marriage in 2023.
