War 2 OTT Release Date: Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR's action thriller to stream on THIS date

Hrithik Roshan, Kiara Advani and Jr NTR starrer War 2 opened in the theatres with mixed reviews. The film earned over Rs 300 crore, and fans are now waiting for its OTT release.

Previously, reports have confirmed that Netflix has bagged the streaming rights of War 2, and the latest reports have teased the release date.

According to 123telugu, War 2 is expected to stream from October 9, 2025, in Hindi, Telugu, and other languages on Netflix.

However, the makers are yet to officially announce the release date of the film.

War 2 also stars Ashutosh Rana, Anil Kapoor, Arista Mehta, and others in the key roles. The latest instalment of the YRF Spy Universe was released globally on August 14, coinciding with the Indian Independence Day weekend. The film faced stiff competition with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, starring Rajinikanth.

Pritam, Sanchit Balhara, and Ankit Balhara handled the music, with Shridhar Raghavan and Abbas Tyrewala writing the script.

The film follows Kabir Dhaliwal, a former RAW agent, who, after going rogue, becomes a major threat to national security, and a special units officer, Vikram Chelapathi, is assigned to neutralise him.

Despite being a box office failure, War 2 emerged as the fourth-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025. The film also became the fifth-highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. The film was estimated to have been made on a budget of around Rs 400 crore. The film only made Rs 244.29 crore net in India and a worldwide gross of approximately Rs 355.1 crore.
