Team India has recently registered a big win with five wickets against Pakistan in the record-tying ninth Asia Cup championship.

Tilak Varma was the star of the Dubai night, scoring an undefeated 69 to lead India.

Cricket lovers have been celebrating the country’s win on social media, with veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan also chiming in on the celebration with cheeky trolling of Pakistan.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle and wrote, “T 5516(i) - jeet gaye!! well played 'Abhishek Bachchan'... udhar zubaan ladakhadaee, aur idhar, bina batting bowling fielding kiye, ladakhada diya dushman ko!! bolati band!! jay hind! jay bhaarat! jay maan durga !!!! (Well played 'Abhishek Bachchan'.. there the tongue faltered, and here, without batting or bowling or fielding, he made the enemy falter!! Stopped speaking!! Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! Jai Maa Durga!!!!)"

Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet was a clear dig at Pakistan's former speedster Shoaib Akhtar, who accidentally referred to Indian cricketer Abhishek Sharma as "Abhishek Bachchan" while discussing strategies during a recent sports show ahead of the finale.
During the show, Shoaib said, “If Pakistan manage to get Abhishek Bachchan out in a hypothetical situation, what happens to India's middle order?”

The host and other guests burst into laughter following the name mix-up, and promptly informed the audience that Shoaib had intended to mention Abhishek Sharma, the young Indian opener who has been in scorching form with back-to-back half-centuries.

However, mentioning the Bollywood star rather than the cricket player instantly went viral on the internet. The former speedster’s tongue slip became a meme fest on social media, with Abhishek Bachchan himself joining in.

Referring to the viral video, the actor tweeted, “Sir, with all due respect... don't think they'll even manage that! And I'm not even good at playing cricket.”
