Oscar-winning actor Jessica Chastain, known for her role in Interstellar, is all set to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The actress and producer will be felicitated during a ceremony scheduled to be held on September 4.
The veteran actor Al Pacino and Oscar-winning Viola Davis will serve as the guest speakers during the ceremony.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has announced the news on its official website. They also revealed that Jessica will receive the 2,819th star at 6258 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the W Hollywood Hotel.
According to Variety, Ana Martinez, Walk of Fame producer, said in the statement, “The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actress Jessica Chastain to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jessica Chastain's talent and dedication have shone brightly on screens around the world, and now her star will shine even brighter on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
Jessica Chastain was nominated by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce in 2025 for her extraordinary work in film. She is among her class that includes Colin Farrell, Bill Nye, Molly Shannon, Green Day and more.
Jessica is known for her stellar roles in movies, including The Help, Zero Dark Thirty, Interstellar, The Martian and Molly’s Game. She is also known for her performance in the 2021 drama series Scenes from a Marriage alongside Oscar Isaac.
The actress has won the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The Eyes of Tammy Faye. She played American evangelist Tammy Faye Bakker in the biopic. She has also won a Golden Globe Award, as well as nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award, two Tony Awards and two British Academy Film Awards.
She is currently gearing up for her role in the upcoming film, Dreams, by Mexican writer-director Michel Franco. She will also star in the Apple TV+ limited series The Savant.
