Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG or OG opened in the theatres with positive reviews from both critics and the audience alike. The film sees packed theatres, which is also evident at the box office.
According to a trade website, OG has collected Rs 18.50 crore net in India on its fourth day of release. The film’s total now stands at Rs 140.20 crore net in India and is expected to soon enter the Rs 200 crore club.
The film registered 39.14% Telugu, 16.63% Tamil and 9.23% Hindi occupancy in the theatres on Sunday.
They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, had a notable opening performance at the box office. On its first day of release, the movie brought in an incredible Rs 63.75 crore net in India across all languages. Additionally, on the day of the pre-release, the movie also made Rs 21 crore in Telugu from paid previews.
Meanwhile, the film continued the momentum and earned Rs 18.75 crore net in India on its second day. OG saw a slight decline and earned Rs 18.5 crore net in India on Saturday.
The film performed well at the international box office. Pawan Kalyan's OG becomes the highest-grossing Indian opener in North America, earning $4 million in 2 days.
Pawan Kalyan’s They Call Him OG or OG is directed by Sujeeth and also stars Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj. Emraan Hashmi also stars in the film in the key role, making his Telugu cinema debut.
The film revolves around mob boss Ojas Gambheera, who resurfaces seeking vengeance against rival crime lords after vanishing from Mumbai's underworld for a decade.
