Power Star Pawan Kalyan has taken up the world box office with Sujeeth's They Call Him OG. With its first collections, the action movie, which also stars Emraan Hashmi in a big part, has had the best opening weekend in North America.

Setting New Records in North America

In 2025, They Call Him OG made the most money at the box office of any Indian movie in the area, bringing in USD 3.13 million. This movie made more money than the last top earner, Coolie, which starred Rajinikanth and Lokesh Kanagaraj and made $3.04 million on its first day in theaters. In comparison, Pawan Kalyan's last movie, Hari Hara Veer Mallu, only generated a little over $1 million in North America.

After that, the momentum kept going. The movie made an extra $540,000 on Day 1, increasing its total to $3.67 million. Even though the final numbers aren't in yet, early estimates for Day 2 reveal that collections have now passed USD 435K, bringing the total to over USD 4 million.

Big reception in India

The mania is equally as exciting at home. The movie generated a record Rs 21 crore at the box office, and Pawan Kalyan made the maximum money on Day 1 with Rs 63.75 crore. Even though Day 2's earnings fell by Rs 19.25 crore, the movie's two-day total of Rs 104 crore is still quite good. Trade experts think that this weekend, They Call Him OG would easily break the Rs 150 crore mark, making it a blockbuster.

A New Global Sensation

They Call Him OG is one of the best opening movies of the year, making a lot of money at the box office in India and throughout the world. Pawan Kalyan's star power, Sujeeth's stylish directing, and the buzz around the movie have all set up a historic run in the next few weeks.
