After a blockbuster theatrical run, Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited Telugu action-crime drama They Call Him OG has officially landed on OTT. The film, which released in theatres on September 25, 2025, is now streaming on Netflix from October 23. Fans can watch it in multiple languages, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada — making it accessible to a pan-Indian audience.

Written and directed by Sujeeth, known for Saaho, the film brings together some of Indian cinema’s biggest talents. It’s produced by D. V. V. Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment — the same studio behind RRR. They Call Him OG stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a man whose mysterious past shapes a legacy of crime and power. The film also features Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut as the antagonist, adding a strong cross-industry appeal. Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead, with Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Sudev Nair, and Harish Uthaman rounding out the ensemble.

The story unfolds between Japan and Bombay, spanning the 1970s to the 1990s. It follows Ojas Gambheera, who survives a near-fatal attack in Japan and flees aboard a ship to India. There, he meets two businessmen, and their meeting marks the beginning of an empire built around a private port in Bombay. What starts as a partnership soon turns into a generational feud driven by betrayal, greed, and vengeance. The film dives deep into the moral decay of power and the cost of loyalty — themes that define Sujeeth’s gritty storytelling.

The film’s production values stand out. Music by Thaman S sets the tone with pulsating background scores and period-accurate melodies. Cinematography is jointly handled by Ravi K. Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, capturing the contrasting worlds of 1970s Japan and Bombay with visual flair. Naveen Nooli’s editing keeps the narrative tight, while A. S. Prakash’s production design recreates the era with meticulous detail. Action sequences choreographed by Peter Hein, Dhilip Subbarayan, and Stunt Silva give the film its adrenaline rush.
