Actors Twinkle Khanna and Kajol have been creating ripples online with their candid talk show Two Much. The latest episode, featuring Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor, sparked a heated yet humorous debate about infidelity, love, and what truly sustains a marriage.
During the episode’s popular segment This or That, the guests were asked whether love or compatibility was more important in a marriage. Twinkle and Janhvi firmly chose love, while Kajol and Karan sided with compatibility. Kajol explained her stance with characteristic honesty, saying, “Love is actually the first thing that ceases to exist once you get married if you don’t have enough compatibility.” Karan agreed, adding that as life progresses, “you have to consider other things besides love.”
This exchange set the tone for the next question which is worse, physical or emotional infidelity? The responses revealed a generational divide. Janhvi stood her ground, saying that physical infidelity was a clear deal breaker. “No, the deal is broken,” she asserted after Karan said that “physical infidelity is not a deal breaker.”
Twinkle, however, chimed in with her trademark wit and maturity, remarking, “We’re in our 50s, she’s in her 20s, and she will get into this circle soon. She hasn’t seen the things we have seen. Raat gayi baat gayi (What’s happened, has happened).”
Twinkle has been married to actor Akshay Kumar since 2001. Before that, Akshay had high-profile relationships with Raveena Tandon and Shilpa Shetty, both of which were the talk of the industry in the 1990s. Kajol, on the other hand, married Ajay Devgn in 1999 and has often spoken about how their bond has weathered decades in an unpredictable industry.
