Ajay Devgn is all set to return as Amay Pattnaik in the highly anticipated Raid 3. Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, Ajay will reprise his role as an honest Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.
Fans now have a new update on the project following the success of the 2018 original and its equally influential sequel.
According to Pinkvilla, Raid 3 is still in the early phases of development, and its makers hope to release it by the end of 2026. The report claims that the movie's specifics are being kept under wraps. According to sources, Raid 3 will be considerably bigger than its predecessors.
A source close to the production told the outlet, “The team has been quietly working on the script over the past few months. The conflict in the third part is bigger and more intense than in the first two films. The stakes are higher, and the raid itself will be designed to be much more elaborate. Ajay Devgn’s character will face challenges that the audience has never seen in the franchise before.”
Pre-production is reportedly scheduled to start in the middle of 2026 after Ajay Devgn fulfils his present obligations.
Director Rajkumar Gupta is closely working on the screenplay to make sure the movie keeps the authenticity and realistic tone that fans have grown accustomed to from the series.
Ajay will play the astute, fearless income tax officer once more, but it is anticipated that the scope of the operations and the difficulties he encounters will be larger and more demanding this time.
The franchise has made a name for itself in Bollywood thanks to its compelling narrative, dramatic action scenes, and accurate depiction of high-stakes income tax operations. The story is expected to become even more intricate and dramatic in the next chapter.
