Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kriti shared many photos and videos of her 'bhai' on his fourth death anniversary on June 14.
Sushant Singh Rajput allegedly died by suicide on June 14, 2020. It left millions of his fans, well-wishers, and the film industry in shock.
His sister Shweta, who keeps sharing her brother's photos, wrote a long note missing her late brother.
She wrote a long message appealing to his fans to 'help move forward and give them the closure that they need.'
"Bhai, it has been 4 years since you left us, and we still don’t know what transpired on June 14, 2020. Your death remains a mystery. I feel helpless and have pleaded with the authorities countless times for the truth. I’m losing my patience and feel like giving up. But today, for one last time, I want to ask everyone who can help with the case to put their hand on their hearts and ask themselves: Don’t we deserve to know what happened to our brother Sushant? Why has it become a political agenda? Why can’t it be as straightforward as stating what was found that day and what is believed to have happened? Please, I am requesting and pleading—help us move forward as a family. Give us the closure we deserve.," posted Shweta.
Sushant's best friend and former co-actor of 'Pavitra Rishta' also wrote a note remembering his dear friend. He wrote with #justiceforsushant that 'we deserve to know' what happened on the fateful day.
"Another year passes by; they said it gets easier and time heals it all, but the questions keep pestering, making it even more difficult. I keep waiting; I keep my utmost faith alive in the law of the land, but I deserve to know. We deserve to know!" wrote Mahesh Shetty.
Sushant Singh Rajput was discovered dead in his Mumbai apartment on June 14, 2020.
Initially, the Mumbai police called his death accidental. However, the situation escalated when Sushant's father complained to the Bihar police, alleging that Sushant’s then-girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her family had abetted his suicide. The case was also handed over to the CBI for further investigation, but no conclusive report has come out. Shweta had also sought PM Narendra Modi's intervention in the case.
Sushant started his career with TV and played the role of Manav in the hit TV show 'Pavitra Rishta', opposite Ankita Lokhande. SSR and Ankita were in a relationship for many years, but they later broke up.
Sushant made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with 'Kai Po Che', and was later seen in films like 'M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story', Sonchiriya', and 'Chhichhore'.
His last film, Dil Bechara, was released posthumously.
