Ankita Lokhande remembers late Sushant Singh Rajput as their TV show 'Pavitra Rishta' completes 15 years, says, "didn’t even know how to act, he taught me everything"

Ankita Lokhande recently took to Instagram to commemorate the 15-year anniversary of her debut television show, 'Pavitra Rishta,' which also starred the late Sushant Singh Rajput. In a heartfelt post, Ankita expressed her gratitude for the show and fondly remembered her co-star.

The actress penned a touching note, thanking everyone for the love she received over the years. Reflecting on her journey, she noted that the role of Archana in 'Pavitra Rishta' had a profound impact on her life and career.

She shared that when she started, she didn't know much about acting, and it was Sushant Singh Rajput who guided and taught her. "I didn’t even know how to act when I started Pavitra Rishta. He taught me, and I will always be thankful for him," she wrote.

Ankita also posted a video montage that included clips from 'Pavitra Rishta' and her other projects, such as the film 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.' The video also featured her appearance on 'Bigg Boss 17,' where she spoke about her experiences on 'Pavitra Rishta.'

 
In her post, Ankita expressed her deep gratitude to the show's producer, Ekta Kapoor, and the entire team at Balaji Telefilms. She credited them for giving her the role of a lifetime at the very start of her career. "I am forever indebted to @ektarkapoor ma’am and @balajitelefilmslimited for giving me a role of a lifetime right in the beginning of my career," she wrote.

Ankita reminisced about her time on the show, saying that 'Pavitra Rishta' was more than just a TV show for her; it became her identity. She shared how the character of Archana taught her a lot about life and that she continues to carry a part of Archana within her. "I sometimes feel I was destined to be Archana. I had her in me, and I continue to have her in me. She has taught me a lot about life," Ankita added.

The actress also acknowledged the support and love from her fans, which she received throughout her journey. She mentioned that the love for Archana and 'Pavitra Rishta' from the audience has kept her motivated and will always remain precious to her.

"The love I have received, Archana and Pavitra Rishta has received from each one of you will keep me alive forever in your hearts, and I don’t think there’s anything more precious than that," Ankita said.

 
Ankita concluded her note by expressing her gratitude to the television industry for shaping her career and giving her the platform to achieve stardom. She acknowledged that her first experience with fame and stardom happened because of 'Pavitra Rishta' and that she will always be thankful for that. "My first brush with fandom and stardom happened because of a television show, and I am always going to be thankful for that," she wrote.

Their on-screen chemistry was widely appreciated, and the show garnered a massive fan following. Ankita and Sushant also dated for several years before parting ways. Tragically, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in June 2020.
