Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's bachelorhood has always remained a question of concern, not only for his parents but also for his well-wishers and his die-hard fans. Now his father and writer Salim Khan has opened up about the reasons why his eldest son Salman is still unmarried at the age of 58.
There is a video of Salim Khan that is being shared widely on social media where the former writer can be heard saying that Salman does get into relationships but hesitates to take them forward.
"He easily gets into a relationship but lacks the courage to get married. He has a very simple nature and gets attracted easily. However, he fears whether the woman will be able to handle the family like his mother does. He wants the woman to be committed to her husband and family like his mother was. She should cook meals for the children, help them get ready, and get their homework done. However, it isn’t easy in today’s time," Salim Khan said.
Once, Salman also blamed himself for being single and said, maybe it is his fear that he can't give the life of happiness to his girlfriends.
“Because when the first one goes, you think it was her fault; when the second one walks out of the relationship, you think it was her fault; when the third one does the same, you think the fault was in her; but by the fourth time, you start to doubt and wonder, ‘Ki fault unmein hai ya mujh mein?’ (Is the fault with them or me?) Maybe it’s my fear that I can’t give them that life or happiness,” he said.
Salman Khan has reportedly dated Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, and Sangeeta Bijlani in the past. It was reported that he almost married Sangeeta in the 1990s. The two had gotten engaged in 1994, but the wedding was called off a few days later.
