Shah Rukh Khan has recently turned 60 and received birthday wishes filled with love and nostalgia from his friends and co-stars. King Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has also joined the list of co-stars wishing him a ‘happy birthday’.
Suhana took to her Instagram and shared a picture of coffee mugs with the text written, “King” which seems to be of Shah Rukh Khan. However, the text written on Suhana’s mug reads, “King’s Princess.”
The birthday wish came after she shared the first look teaser of Shah Rukh Khan’s King on her social media. Sharing the teaser, she penned in the caption, “Sau deshon mein badnaam, Duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam- #KING (Infamous in other countries, the world gave him only one name).”
She concluded, “#KingTitleReveal. It’s Showtime! In Cinemas 2026.”
Suhana will also star in the highly anticipated action thriller, King, which stars Shah Rukh in the lead. This marks the first collaboration between the father and the daughter duo.
The screenplay is reportedly penned by Sujoy Ghosh in collaboration with Siddharth Anand, Suresh Nair, and Sagar Pandya. Abbas Tyrewala, who worked on Pathaan, returns as the dialogue writer.
Following the success of Pathaan, this is SRK's second collaboration with Siddharth Anand. Shah Rukh Khan is introduced in the title reveal video with the stirring words, "Hazaar jurm, sau deshon mein badnaam, duniya ne diya sirf ek hi naam – KING. Darr nahi, dehshat hoon.”
The teaser showed SRK wielding a King of Hearts card as a weapon.
The teaser features an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, and Raghav Juyal.
