‘The Dark Knight’ saga has captivated audience’s minds over the past decade over its immensely well crafted script along with its chilling and exhilarating performances, that the world has ever seen.

The Christopher Nolan directed ‘masterpiece’ was co written by his brother, Jonathan Nolan, who is known for creating the CBS sci fi series, ‘Person of Interest’, whilst also co-creating the well acclaimed HBO series, ‘Westworld’. Apart from the various other projects he worked alongside Chris with, most notably, ‘The Prestige’ (2006), ‘Interstellar’ (2014), and ‘Memento’ (2000), his most recent project, the tv series adaptation of the famous post-apocalyptic RPG franchise ‘Fallout’, has highlighted his strengths as a director evermore.

In an interview promoting his latest Amazon series, Nolan was asked whether he’d ever want to revisit the Batman franchise. To which he replied, “Wouldn’t that be a dream? That period was 10 years of my life [from] when I got the call to work on Batman Begins, and it was epic. Working with Christian [Bale], Heath [Ledger], Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and to honor an American icon. If I had the chance to go back and work on that again? Absolutely.”

Batman’s cinematic journey is currently being helmed by writer and director Matt Reeves, with the Batman Part II set to release in 2026. Nolan further noted that he’s moved onto other things. "And, of course, other people have picked up the mantel and moved on with those characters.”

When asked who he’d want to see take on the role of 'The Dark Knight' in a freshly launched trilogy, Nolan succinctly expressed, “To me, it will always be Christian.”

The director and executive producer of the video game adaptation ‘Fallout’ is coming off with a massive win with his tv series. Last month's debut of the post-apocalyptic action-drama drew over 65 million viewers worldwide, securing a swift renewal for season two. It also received acclaim from critics, earning positive reviews, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
