Veteran actors Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher captured hearts as they made a rare joint appearance on the red carpet at the premiere of Tanvi The Great in Mumbai.

It was a special moment for fans, not only because of the couple’s enduring bond but also due to Kirron’s return to a public event after maintaining a relatively low profile in recent months. Many were visibly moved by the sight of the couple together, while some expressed concern for Kirron’s health.

Anupam and their son Sikandar were spotted at the premiere with Kirron, who has been valiantly overcoming health issues in recent years.

Kirron was receiving treatment for multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer, which Anupam had made public in 2021. After finishing her cancer treatment, she went back to work, but she has since been cautious about her public and professional appearances.

For the premiere, Kirron looked graceful in a red embroidered ethnic outfit, complemented by a silver handbag and bold statement earrings. Anupam, ever the supportive husband, stood by her side in a charcoal tuxedo paired with a black shirt and bow tie.

The footage, widely shared on social media, prompted an outpouring of love and concern from fans. Many commented on her appearance, noting that she looked frail, with some remarking, “She looks so weak… I hope she gets better in health,” and “Hope she becomes lively and healthy again.” Others, however, urged kindness and compassion. One social media user wrote, “She’s fine and is recovering. Let’s pray for her rather than discuss her health condition… let’s keep rooting for her and wish her good health always.”

Kirron, who served as a BJP MP from Chandigarh after winning in both 2014 and 2019, opted out of the 2024 general elections citing health reasons. At the time, she said, “Despite my health condition, I gave my best for the development of the city. I will now fully support our candidate Sanjay Tandon…”
