An influencer from Copenhagen, Denmark named Frederikke has gone viral on the internet for her wholesome and humorous misunderstanding of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. Frederikke, who uses the social media handle Bhukkad Bidesi, discovered a packet of Bikaji moong dal papad with a photo of Big B on the packaging while on vacation in Nepal. She mistakenly believed the famous actor was the snack's creator without knowing who he was.

Taking the viral mix-up in stride, Frederikke responded with good humour by sharing a playful reel on Instagram. In the video, styled like a Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) segment, she’s seen tackling the question: “Who is Amitabh Bachchan?” The four answer choices are: Famous actor, KBC host, papad maker, and Bikaji brand ambassador. With a cheeky nod to her earlier confusion, she confidently selects “papad maker” — and hilariously wins the game show’s grand prize of Rs 7 crore.

In a now-viral video, Frederikke excitedly holds up the Bikaji papad pack and says, “This guy makes the best papadum,” pointing at Amitabh Bachchan’s image. She then shares that she first discovered papad while in Nepal and instantly fell in love with the taste. Unfortunately, since returning to Copenhagen, she hasn’t been able to find the snack and is now running low on her stash.

“Who is this man—and why does he make the BEST papadum I've ever had?! I bought this papad back in Nepal and haven’t found it anywhere in Copenhagen. I’m running low… if anyone knows where to get this or who this legendary papad guy is, please help," she said in the video clip.

As she praises the taste and asks her fans to help her find 'the man' so she can get more of the product, Frederikke is also seen in the video taking a papad out of the package, roasting it on an electric stove and taking a delighted bite.

Netizens were left in splits by the confusion, expressing their laughter in the comments section and pointing out that the "legendary papad guy" is actually Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of Indian cinema.

Frederikke's comment section soon flooded with the veteran actor's “tremendous work” in growing basmati rice for India Gate, saving lives in India via polio drops, and a lot more. One hilarious comment read, "He also used to give me polio drops. I am alive today because of him." Another user wrote, "He belongs to a poor family, he travels 80 kms everyday to a papad factory. His wife is very sweet and always respectful to others." In another funny comment, a user wrote, "HE IS MY GRANDPA. I’LL MAKE SURE HE SENDS YOU MORE!" A comment pointed out, "That's Amita Bachan, he makes amazing Soan papdi aswell."
