BLACKPINK’s Jennie is gearing up for her solo comeback after signing a deal with Columbia Records. Her agency, ODDATELIER, announced her partnership with the renowned American label. Jennie will release a new single in October, her first since You & Me, which came out on October 6, 2023.
Jennie has been active in collaborations, such as Slow Motion with Matt Champion and Spot! with Zico, which saw significant success. Globally, Jennie’s brand continues to grow, reflecting her influence in the music industry.

When Jennie first started rapping, she studied the work of artists she admired, including Lauryn Hill and TLC. She has cited Rihanna as her main musical influence and role model. During the creation of BLACKPINK's THE ALBUM, Jennie drew inspiration from a diverse range of artists, such as Lana Del Rey, Billie Eilish, Harry Hudson, H.E.R., and Kacey Musgraves.
Known for her powerful stage presence, Jennie is described off-stage as charmingly cute and reserved. She frequently tops the Korean Business Research Institute's Individual Girl Group Members Brand Power Ranking and was the first Korean to reach 50 million followers on Instagram in 2021.
