BLACKPINK’s Jisoo has officially announced that she will be releasing a new duet single on October 6.
While she has not revealed the identity of her duet partner, the BLACKPINK member shared a teaser image showing the silhouette of a mysterious man in the background.
Jisoo hinted at the release with a post that read, “A duet is near,” suggesting that fans can expect a new song soon.
The track has been revealed to be titled Eyes Closed, which she had previously registered, and she has also added another track called Alibi, expected to be part of her upcoming solo single album.

BLACKPINK fans quickly flooded the comment section with excitement for the new collaboration. One fan wrote, "I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! NEW JISOO MUSIC I’M SCREAMING I’M NOT READY AAAHHHH LMG JISOO", while another comment read, "A DUET WITH WHO??? A NEW SONG?? WHEN?? HOW NEAR?? ANSWER ME MOTHER."
According to an unconfirmed report by The Korea Herald, industry sources suggest that Jisoo’s duet partner could be Zayn Malik, who rose to fame as a member of One Direction before pursuing a solo career.
Zayn previously attended BLACKPINK’s concert in New York this past July and later thanked the group for the invitation on Instagram. If the reports are accurate, this would mark Zayn Malik’s first-ever collaboration with a K-Pop artist.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is also preparing to release a new mini-album, their first in three years, as they continue their DEADLINE World Tour.
