Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda, 35, passed away after battling severe injuries sustained in a tragic motorcycle accident near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The artist, known for his soulful hits and roles in Punjabi cinema, had been under intensive care for nearly two weeks before succumbing to his injuries at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

According to reports, the accident occurred while Jawanda was riding his 1300cc motorcycle on his way to Shimla when he collided with stray cattle, resulting in a fatal crash. His wife had reportedly begged him not to go on the ride that day, expressing concern for his safety. Despite her pleas, Jawanda decided to proceed. Close friends revealed that the family is devastated, struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss.

After the crash, Jawanda was first treated at a local hospital in Solan before being moved to Fortis Hospital due to the severity of his condition. Doctors placed him on life support, with critical care and neurology specialists monitoring him closely. However, despite their best efforts, he remained in critical condition until his passing, with cardiac complications worsening his state.

The news of his death has sent shockwaves across the Punjabi entertainment industry. Fans, fellow artists, and public figures took to social media to mourn the loss. Politicians and celebrities, including Manish Sisodia, expressed condolences to Jawanda’s family, remembering him as a talented and humble artist whose music brought joy to countless listeners.

Hailing from Pona village in Ludhiana’s Jagraon area, Rajvir Jawanda rose to prominence with songs like Tu Dis Penda, Khush Reha Kar, Sardari, Surname, Afreen, Landlord, Down to Earth, and Kangani. His energetic voice and heartfelt lyrics made him one of the most loved figures in Punjabi music. Beyond singing, he left his mark in films such as Subedar Joginder Singh (2018), Jind Jaan (2019), and Mindo Taseeldarni (2019), earning praise for his authentic screen presence.

Rajvir’s untimely demise leaves a deep void in the industry. His passion, humility, and vibrant spirit made him a beloved figure among peers and fans alike. Though his life was cut short, his songs and films will continue to inspire generations, ensuring his legacy endures in the heart of Punjabi entertainment.
