Punjabi singer and actor Rajvir Jawanda passed away on October 8, 2025, after battling for his life for 11 days following a tragic road accident in Himachal Pradesh. The 35-year-old artist, known for hits like Kali Jawande Di and Sardari, was riding his BMW motorcycle near Baddi when he reportedly collided with stray cattle, suffering severe head and spinal injuries. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali and placed on life support, but his condition remained critical until his death. The news sent shockwaves through the Punjabi entertainment industry, leaving fans mourning a voice that had become a cultural favourite.

Rajvir Jawanda wasn’t just another Punjabi singer chasing fame, he was a storyteller with a voice that carried both strength and soul. Known for songs like Kali Jawande Di, Khush Reha Kar, Sardari, and Do Ni Sajna, he built his reputation on honest emotion and lyrical depth. His fans admired him for his simplicity, humility, and connection to everyday Punjabi life.

Born in Jagraon, Ludhiana, around 1990, Rajvir grew up in a family with roots in law enforcement, his father served in the Punjab Police. For some time, Rajvir himself pursued the same path and even trained for a career in policing. But the pull of music proved stronger. With a Master’s Degree in music, he started performing at local events and slowly began to make his mark. By the mid-2010s, he had become one of the most promising voices in the Punjabi music industry.

His breakout hit Kali Jawande Di turned him into a household name. It wasn’t just the melody—it was the feeling behind it. His songs often revolved around pride, love, and self-worth, themes that resonated deeply with Punjab’s youth. Other tracks like Mera Dil, Sardari, and Landlord showcased his range, balancing rustic folk energy with polished contemporary sound. Over time, Rajvir carved a distinct niche as a singer who could bridge old-school Punjabi pride with modern storytelling.
