Popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda passed away on October 8 after suffering a serious head injury in a road accident. He was admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali and was on a ventilator for the last two weeks.
However, several prominent celebrities from the Punjabi music industry have started pouring tributes soon after Rajvir's death reports started swirling around.
Actor and comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi took to his Instagram and shared a picture of Rajvir. Alongside the photo, he penned in Punjabi, "Death has won, youth has lost, how will we forget you, little brother."
Neeru Bajwa expressed her disbelief and wrote on her Instagram, "It is very painful to leave the happy and kind person Rajveer like this, goodbye dear Rajveer."
She added, "Heartbroken by the tragic loss of such a young and promising life. Sending deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of @rajvirjawandaofficial."
What happened to Rajvir Jawanda?
Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda died after following a serious road accident in Himachal Pradesh that left him on a ventilator for the previous eleven days.
He was placed on life support after suffering severe head and spinal injuries on September 27 near Baddi, Himachal Pradesh.
The well-known singer reportedly lost control of his motorcycle near Baddi in the Solan district while travelling to Shimla.

Before being taken to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, he was first taken to a nearby hospital in the Solan district, where it is said he experienced a cardiac arrest.
Medical and neurosurgery teams started evaluation and treatment as soon as the singer arrived at Fortis at approximately 1:45 PM. His neurological condition remained critical, according to hospital sources, with little brain activity and a slow rate of improvement.
