Youtuber Puspendra aka Akash found dead at home in Delhi a day after going missing

A 31 year old YouTuber from East Delhi, Puspendra, popularly known as Akash, was found dead in the Anand Vihar area a day after he was reported missing, prompting a police investigation.

The death of a young social media creator in Delhi has left his family and followers shocked, raising questions about what exactly happed in the hours before he was set up dead.

31- year-old YouTuber from East Delhi, Puspendra, popularly known as Akash, was found dead in the Anand Vihar area a day after he was reported missing.

Akash was a garment businessman and content creator who ran a fashion- oriented YouTube channel ‘Styling.’ According to his cousins, he had a notable online presence and promoted apparel and fashion products through his videos. He also operated a garment exchange under the same name in Mandawali area of East Delhi.

Family members said Akash left his home in Mandawali Unchepar around 12.30 pm on Saturday. He was reportedly carrying around Rs 1.5 lakh cash to buy apparel stock from Gandhi Nagar wholesale market.

According to Akash’s kinsman Satyendra Singh, his wife tried to call him at around 2.20 pm. Although the phone rang, her husband did not answer. But shortly after that , at about 2.33 pm, his phone was switched off.

Repeated attempts to reach him failed, causing concern among family members. Later that evening, the family approached the Mandawali police station and filed a missing person complaint. During the search, the last given position of his mobile phone was traced to the Anand Vihar area.

On Sunday, cousins reportedly discovered Akash’s body in a vacant plot belonging to the Delhi Development Authority near Telco T- Point in Anand Vihar.

Police reached the spot to begin probe proceedings. While the primary examination did not indicate clear signs of homicide, Akash’s family believes the circumstances point toward theft and possible foul play.

According to his cousins, the gold chain he was wearing and the cash he'd been carrying were missing.

Police officers said the body was shifted to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital for a post mortem. Viscera samples have been saved to determine the exact cause of death.

After the postmortem examination was conducted on Tuesday, the body was handed over to the family.

Akash is survived by his parents, wife, and a two year old daughter.
