Australian cricketer David Warner, a well-known fan of Telugu cinema, is all set to promote his much-anticipated Tollywood debut, Robinhood.

The film, directed by Venky Kudumula and starring Nithiin and Sreeleela, has already created a buzz with its vibrant songs and Warner’s unexpected cameo. In an exciting new update, the makers have confirmed that Warner will actively participate in the film’s promotions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the pre-release campaign.

Producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers has officially confirmed that Warner will be making a special cameo in Robinhood! Speaking at the pre-release event of Kingston, Ravi said, "David Warner has made a cameo in the film. It’ll be exciting."

Director Venky Kudumula recently heightened the excitement at a Hyderabad press meet by confirming that David Warner will not only have a cameo in Robinhood but will also be actively involved in its promotional activities.

Adding to the film’s excitement, former Australian cricketer David Warner, a beloved figure among Telugu audiences due to his association with SunRisers Hyderabad, has a special cameo in Robinhood. Warner reportedly shot his scenes in September 2024 during the film’s Australia schedule. Known for his love of Tollywood, he has often expressed his admiration through viral dance reels on Allu Arjun’s songs and his attempts at speaking Telugu, making his involvement in the film even more special.

Robinhood was initially planned to reunite the successful trio of Nithiin, Rashmika Mandanna, and director Venky Kudumula, who had previously delivered the blockbuster Bheeshma. However, due to scheduling conflicts, Rashmika had to step away from the project, leading to Sreeleela coming on board as the female lead.

Originally slated for a Christmas release on December 25, Robinhood faced an unexpected delay. However, the wait is finally coming to an end, as the film is now locked in for a grand theatrical release on March 28, promising action, entertainment, and star-studded surprises.
