Shikhar Dhawan is currently engaged in second innings as far as his love life is concerned. After getting a divorce with Aesha Mukherjee in 2023, which brought an end to their eleven years of marriage, the stylish former India cricketer is dating Sophie Shine, who hails from Ireland. The couple are often spotted at stadiums watching cricket, with ICC Champions Trophy 2025 being the first instance.

As the news is already public, the couple have started giving interviews together and in a recent promotional post, available on their official Instagram handles, they opened about their relationship. From their first meeting to what they admire about each other, everything was talked about in details in the video.

During the conversation, Dhawan revealed they met at a restaurant in Dubai. Sharing details of the meet, Dhawan added: "Sophie was wearing camouflage trousers and jacket. She was looking very beautiful."

The interviewer then shifted focus towards Sophie and asked what was the first thing she noticed about him. “Definitely, his beautiful face. He had very mischievous eyes, and his face lit up when he looked at me," she said in response.

Dhawan was also asked to pick a sound track, which described their relationship, to which the cricketer said: "old Bollywood song Tum Agar Saath Dene Ka Vada Karo."
