'Badla lena, India ko chhorna nahi hain': Fan requests Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf

India and Pakistan will cross paths for the third time in Asia Cup 2025 at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday. The meeting will also mark the first time when the two battle in the Asia Cup final.

India have maintained a perfect record in the continental showdown and booked the final tickets after beating Bangladesh in the Super Four match played on Wednesday. The outcome also saw Sri Lanka get eliminated from the tournament while setting a virtual knockout between Pakistan and Bangladesh a day later. Both teams engaged in a gripping affair and it was Pakistan, who ultimately beat Bangladesh by 11 runs to set a final date with India.

Following the clash, Haris Rauf was spotted greeting fans assembled at the Dubai International Stadium - the venue of the clash. An interesting exchange has come out from the same in which a fan can be heard expressing raw emotions, while making a straightforward request to the pacer. Here is the video:

In the previous two meetings, India have steamrolled Pakistan and secured big wins on both occasions. The first was a group stage encounter, which the Men In Blue won by seven wickets and followed it with a six-wicket thrashing in the Super Four stage.

Haris Rauf will be the one to watchout for in the final as he has shown good form during the course of the tournament. In the four matches that Rauf has played, he has registered nine scalps but has failed to check the run flow.

Pakistan head coach Mike Hesson speaking during the post-match presser after beating Bangladesh said: "My message is just focus on cricket. That is what we would be doing. Those things, you (the media) probably know more than I do. I deal with the cricket side. In terms of gestures, there has always been passion, has not there, during the high-pressure matches. Our focus would be just on playing a good game."
