Dhanashree Verma, popular choreographer and former wife of Yuzvendra Chahal, has hit back at the cricketer for his much-talked T-shirt on the day of divorce. Chahal grabbed many eyeballs when he attended the final hearing in a black T-shirt with "Be Your Own Sugar Daddy" written on it.
Months after the incident, Dhanashree has finally spoken about the moment and accused the cricketer of playing a "victim" before labeling the act as "T-shirt stunt". She made the remarks while speaking on the Humans of Bombay podcast on YouTube.
“You know that people are going to blame you. Before I had even known that this T-shirt stunt had happened, we were all aware that people were going to blame me for this," she said on the viral moment.
Speaking further on the subject, Dhanashree stated she was surprised by Chahal's act. “Arey bhai, WhatsApp kar deta. T-shirt kyun pehna hai? (You should have sent it on WhatsApp. Why wear the T-shirt?)"

Earlier this month, Chahal while speaking to Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel expressed how things went South between the two, which led to mental health struggles due to cheating allegations on him. Chahal also mentioned how he battled suicidal thoughts during this phase of his life.
"I had suicidal thoughts, I was tired of my life, I used to cry for two hours. I used to sleep just for two hours. It went for 40-45 days. I wanted a break from cricket. I was so busy in cricket. I was not able to concentrate. I used to sleep for 2 hours. Used to share suicidal thoughts with my friend. I used to get scared," said Chahal.
