Dhanashree Verma doubles the drama with cryptic post

Social media influencer and reality TV personality Dhanashree Verma and her ex-husband, cricket player Yuzvendra Chahal, have again made headlines due to their latest social media posts.

Stand-up comedian Samay Rana has recently stirred drama after he shared a screen grab of a video with the caption, "Love you, my sugar daddy." He tagged Chahal and included emojis of laughter and kissing.

The post swiftly gained widespread attention, escalating the public discussion about Dhanashree and Chahal's breakup.

Dhanashree added another level to the online conversation by responding on social media within hours, sharing a picture of her pet dog along with a message meant to reassure her supporters.

Dhanashree indirectly responded to Samay Rana's widely shared post. She posted a photo of her pet dog with the caption, "Don't worry, guys, meri mumma ka acha samay hi chal raha hai (My mom is having a good time).”

She then added a lemon and green chilli emoji that read, "Buri nazar wale tera muh kaala."

Samay Rana's post, which read, "Love you, my sugar daddy," gave Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma newfound attention.

Since announcing their split, Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal's separation has drawn a lot of public attention. The former couple tied the knot in December 2020. Dhanashree and Chahal filed for divorce in March 2025.

Dancer and digital artist Dhanashree has recently discussed her marriage to cricket player Yuzvendra, saying that there had been problems from the start.  She revealed that Chahal had cheated on her just two months after their wedding while appearing on the reality show Rise and Fall.
