The cosmopolitan metropolis of Mumbai is Shah Rukh Khan’s home city. Every year on his birthday, fans from all over the world gather outside his seaside Bandra home to wish him.
The streets of South Mumbai have also been the backdrop for many of Shah Rukh Khan’s most notable films. Some of these include Devdas (2002), Om Shanti Om (2007), Don (2006), Jawan (2023) and Pathaan (2023).
These movies were filmed in numerous prominent locations in Mumbai, such as the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Elephanta Island, the Gateway of India, and Marine Drive.

London
Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012), Ra.One (2011), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), and Fan (2016) are some of the Indian motion pictures that were filmed in the vibrant city of London.
London is the capital and largest city of England and the United Kingdom. It is a global city with a rich history and diverse culture. The city is home to people from all over the world and features several world-famous attractions, such as the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace.
November is an excellent time to visit London, as the city is adorned with beautiful fall and Christmas decorations. Christmas lights will be lit up on Oxford Street this week, followed by those on Regent Street, Carnaby Street, and Trafalgar Square in the days and weeks to come.
Gstaad, Switzerland
After the super hit movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995) was released, Switzerland came on every Indian’s radar. The song Zara Sa Jhoom Loon Main was shot in the main promenade of Gstaad, a quaint village in western Switzerland, well-known for its world-class skiing, arresting chalets, and well-appointed amenities.
Towards the end of the song, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol return to a hotel in a horse-drawn carriage along the Gstaad promenade, a charming, car-free street lined with luxury boutiques, fine-dining restaurants, and art galleries.
In the winter months, Gstaad is a playground for skiers and snowboarders. The town boasts over 220 kilometres of well-manicured slopes, as well as several off-piste areas for experienced skiers.
Goa
Dear Zindagi (2016) was a coming-of-age drama starring Alia Bhatt, an aspiring cinematographer who is discontented with life. She meets a free-spirited psychologist—Shah Rukh Khan—in Goa. Khan helps her to gain a new perspective on life.
The movie Dear Zindagi was filmed in several locations across Goa, including Morjim Beach, Parra Madani Road, Benaulim Beach, Dona Paula, and the village of Salvador do Mundo.

Years ago, another cult SRK film was shot across Goa and Mumbai: Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa (1994).
In addition to beautiful beaches, Goa is also home to a number of visually striking landmarks, such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Fort Aguada and Chapora Fort.
The months of November and December are the peak tourist season in Goa. The rain subsides and there is a slight nip in the air.
New York City
Numerous Shah Rukh Khan movies have been filmed in the Big Apple. Some of the most popular ones include Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003), Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), and My Name Is Khan (2010).
In these films, Khan can be seen serenading his lead actresses with New York City’s iconic landmarks as the perfect backdrop. These landmarks include the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, the Brooklyn Bridge, and Times Square.
New York City is home to a number of high-end hotels, award-winning restaurants, and some of the best retail shops in the world. The city is always evolving, with something new constantly opening, making it the perfect destination to keep returning to.
Towards the end of November, Christmas decorations go up all around NYC. Furthermore, the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony typically takes place in the last weekend of November.
