The 75th Republic Day of India witnessed a unique celebration by the Russian Embassy in New Delhi. Breaking away from conventional diplomatic expressions, the embassy orchestrated a vibrant song and dance routine featuring the iconic track from Sunny Deol's “Gadar” - “Main nikla gadd leke”.
The Russian Embassy's creative homage to India's Republic Day unfolded through a captivating video shared across their social media platforms. Staff members, children, and professional dancers showcased their enthusiasm by dancing to the beats of 'Gadar,' all while holding placards with heartfelt wishes for India.
Children and adults, dressed in casual, traditional Indian and Russian attire performed on stage as well as outside the embassy in 1.30 minute second clip.
"Happy Republic Day, India! From Russia with love," declared the embassy in a message along with the video. Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov expressed warm congratulations and bestowing wishes of prosperity and well-being. "Long live Rusi-Bharatiya Dosti!" he exclaimed.
