India's 'youngest millionaire' 4-month-old Ekagrah Rohan Murty has Rs 240 crore Infosys shares

But Ekagrah Rohan Murty isn't the only baby who became a millionaire even before he could eat solid food, thanks to the grandparents. In the UK, a two-day-old baby girl became a millionaire after her grandfather gifted her a Rs 10 crore house, and another Rs 52 crore in a trust fund.

Born to Infosys founder Narayana Murthy and author-philanthropist Sudha Murty's son Rohan Murty and daughter-in-law Aparna Krishnan on November 10, 2023, Ekagrah Rohan Murty is possibly the country's youngest millionaire.

The four-month-old boy is now the owner of 0.04 percent stake in Infosys. The shares, worth Rs 240 crore, were gifted by Narayana Murthy.

Ekagrah -- a Sanskrit word that means unwavering focus and determination -- was named after the Arjuna's “ekagrah” in the Mahabharata. The name also appears in the Bhagavad Gita’s sixth chapter, which focuses on yoga and meditation as means towards self-realisation.

The child is Narayana Murthy and Sudha Murty's third grandchild. Their first two grandkids are the two daughters of Akshata Murty and UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

But Ekagrah isn't the only baby who became a millionaire even before he could eat solid food, thanks to the grandparents. In June 2023, a two-day-old baby girl in the UK became a millionaire after her multi-millionaire grandfather gifted her a Rs 10 crore house, and another Rs 52 crore in a trust fund.

British businessman and LGBTQ activist Barrie Drewitt-Barlow, who is reportedly worth a staggering £200 million (more than Rs 2,000 crore), said he could not be prouder to get a "princess to spoil". "Tony Drewitt-Barlow (his former partner) and I could not be prouder of Saffron Drewitt-Barlow and Conor Tucker for producing this little Princess for our family. Our first granddaughter and a new princess to spoil," he told the media.

"Now I have another princess to spoil and I cannot wait. I just bought her a new house this weekend worth £1 million and I've instructed a team of interior designers to go in and totally renovate it for her. And as this is Tony's first grandchild, he has set up a £5 million trust fund for her, so she is already a multi-millionaire."
