The G20 conference of world leaders is being held in the tourist island of Bali in Indonesia, where leaders from 19 countries will hold a series of discussions on various issues.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among the world leaders attending the G20 summit. PM Modi had informal interactions with US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron and several other global leaders on Tuesday on the sidelines of the conference here and exchanged views on a range of issues.

The venue for the summit is Apurva Kempinski, a luxury resort in Bali’s Nusa Dua. The beachfront destination has 475 rooms, suites and villas and is located on top of a cliff. It’s a 15-minute drive from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Apurva Kempinski has seven dining outlets, a luxurious ocean-facing spa and fitness centre, as well as versatile meetings and events spaces.

The hotel’s grand staircase, inspired by Bali’s mother temple, is a signature detail, with 250 flights of stairs. The design of the suites and rooms too are inspired by the architecture of Bali and its traditional influences.

A 1,076 square metre pillar-free ocean-view ballroom, several meeting rooms and wedding venues with ocean views are among the facilities offered by the hotel for events.
The G20 comprises 19 countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the USA and the European Union (EU).
During the summit, PM Modi will have extensive discussions with other G20 leaders on issues of global concern, including reviving global growth, food and energy security, environment, health, and digital transformation. (Image: AP)
India will assume G20 Presidency for one year, beginning December 1, 2022.
