Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to the terrorist attacks in Israel on Saturday, saying that he was "deeply shocked" by the events and his and everyone else's thoughts were with the affected families.
Writing on X (formerly Twitter), PM Modi said that everybody stood in solidarity with Israel during this "difficult hour".
"Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour," PM Modi wrote on Saturday.

Today's incident marked an unprecedented infiltration by Hamas gunmen into Israel from Gaza, and was the most serious escalation since Israel and Hamas fought a war in 2021.
Earlier in the day, Tesla CEO Elon Musk also reacted to the attacks, saying that he hoped there was peace in the world, one day.
