Bulk deals: Quant MF buys 1.1% stake in Aarti Pharmalabs

Baron Emerging Markets Fund sold a 0.95 percent stake in Aarti Pharmalabs Limited.

    Quant Mutual Fund bought a 1.1 percent stake in Aarti Pharmalabs Limited via a bulk deal on May 22. Quant Mutual Fund bought around 10 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 575.83 per share.

    Baron Emerging Markets Fund sold a 0.95 percent stake in Aarti Pharmalabs Limited. It sold around 8.6 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 573 per share. Baron Emerging Fund held a 1.01 percent stake in Aarti Pharmalabs as of April 30.

    Aarti Pharmalabs' shares closed 6.14 percent up at Rs 615 on the National Stock Exchange.

    Axis Mutual Fund bought a 1.04 percent stake or around 25 lakh shares in Granules India. It bought them at an average price of Rs 405.1 per share. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology also bought a 1.07 percent stake in Granules India. It bought around 25 lakh share at an average price of Rs 405.1 per share.

    On the sellers side, promoter Krishna Prassad Chigurupati sold a 3.09 percent stake in Granules India or 75 lakh shares for an average price of Rs 405.08 per share. Krishna Prassad Chigurupati had a 34.78 percent stake in Granules India as of March 34.

    Granules India shares closed 4.61 percent up, at Rs 427.95 on the National Stock Exchange.

    Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore PTE bought a 0.63 percent stake in Apollo Tyres. It bought 40 lakh shares for an average price of Rs 477.35 per share.  While ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought a 0.66 percent stake in Apollo Tyres or 41 lakh shares for an average price of Rs 477.35 per share.

    White Iris Investment Limited sold 2.2 crore shares of Apollo Tyres or a 3.54 percent stake in the company for an average price of Rs 477.35 per share. As of March 30, White Iris Investment Limited held a 3.54 percent stake in Apollo Tyres.
