GoAir announces Flash Forward Sale with fares starting at Rs 1,020

Budget carrier GoAir has announced a flash sale with tickets starting Rs 1,020 for travel period between January 14, 2020 to July 31, 2020.

In order to avail the discounted air tickets during the 'Flash Forward Sale 2020' customers will need to make their bookings between September 3 to September 10, 2019.

All fares under the offer will end with "20" as the last two digits, to usher in the the new decade decade 2020, the company noted in a press release.

Jeh Wadia, Managing Director, GoAir, said, "We Indians are aligning with our global counterparts i.e., vacations are being planned 120 – 180 and in some case even 210 days in advance. It is heartening to see that the benefits of advance planning are being understood well and customers are ready to take longer period calls."

As of now, GoAir operates flights to 24 domestic and six international destinations, and has around 300 daily operational flights.

In a statement last month, GoAir said that starting October 1, it will operate all its domestic flights from Mumbai airport from Terminal 1, as per a report in The Hindu.

"This move will immensely benefit GoAir passengers as they will be able to easily demarcate the terminal they need to go to — Terminal 1 for domestic flights, Terminal 2 for international flights. Internally, the shift of domestic flights to Terminal 1 will streamline the departure and arrival process for GoAir and create greater synergies," it said in the statement.
