Veteran actress Rekha knows how to surprise fans with her sartorial choices. Recently, ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani shared her pictures in a breathtaking pink and gold ensemble that got the internet talking.

Rekha dazzled in the traditional Anarkali-style ensemble, channelling her iconic Umrao Jaan look decades after the film’s release. The outfit was custom-made by her favourite designer Manish Malhotra.

The striking hue of her attire was enhanced by gold embroidery at the hem and sleeves, adding to its opulence. Her voluminous skirt and blouse, adorned with floral motifs, paisley patterns, and intricate brocade designs, fitted her to perfection. The ensemble was paired with a matching churidar and an ombré dupatta.

What truly stood out was the exquisite traditional jewellery that completed her ensemble, making her look nothing short of a glamorous diva. She wore a beautiful multi-layered necklace, a matha-patti, and a maang tikka. To add to the dazzle, she sported statement jhumkas, a nath, and pink bangles paired with green and gold kadhas. She also adorned her hands with haath phool and anklets, both of which are making their way back into contemporary bridal fashion.

Rekha’s hair was the true showstopping element. It was tied in a braid, decorated with golden gota parandi and other delicate hair accessories.

Time and again, Rekha proves that age is just a number. She has been experimenting with her fashion this year and recently stunned fans by acing maximalist fashion at the trailer launch of Pintu Ki Pappi.

The actress sported an oversized white blazer over a satin white knotted shirt, paired with matching wide-legged trousers. She added a twist with chunky gold sneakers and carried a stylish sling bag.

Rekha accessorised her look with statement gold earrings, studded black sunglasses, and a beanie hat. She stuck to her signature burgundy lips and painted her nails gold, adding extra glamour.
