- Prioritise protein and vegetables: Raj suggested flipping the food ratio. While it’s almost certain that you indulged in starchy, sugary, and fatty foods over the past couple of days, it’s time to make a switch by prioritising protein and vegetables and minimising the unhealthy foods you consume.
- Add more movement than usual: To counter the lack of movement during the festive period, Raj said to add more movement than usual. “I am not talking about burning off the extra calories. I am talking about using the additional calories that you have in your body now to do useful work that will help you become stronger as a system.” He advised lifting weights, playing a sport, running a little longer, and dancing a little harder, basically, anything that you need and like to do. “Use your heart, your lungs, your muscles, and help yourself become a stronger system. Utilise that energy for a better purpose,” he added.

I know it sucks, but we have to accept that all good things have to come to an end so we can prepare ourselves for the next good thing.”
