It was only recently that Moneycontrol reported that Sikhs For Justice (SFJ), a pro-Khalistan group located in the US, has threatened Diljit Dosanjh's concert in Australia scheduled for today due to a "contentious" encounter with Amitabh Bachchan.

Diljit's recent appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, when he was observed politely patting Amitabh Bachchan's feet while meeting him, is the source of the issue. According to SFJ, this conduct denigrates the victims of the anti-Sikh riots in 1984. "Diljit Dosanjh has insulted every victim, widow, and orphan of the 1984 Sikh Genocide by touching the feet of Bachchan, the man whose words orchestrated genocide," the group stated in a statement.
