As Shah Rukh Khan celebrated his milestone 60th birthday on November 2, the love for Bollywood’s biggest star was on full display.
Fans from across the country gathered outside his iconic Mumbai home, Mannat, hoping to catch their annual glimpse of the actor — a tradition they’ve cherished for years.
But this time, things were different. For the first time in memory, SRK couldn’t step out to greet the massive crowd that had assembled to wish him.
But after looking at the dedication of the fans, Shah Rukh stepped out later in the evening to wave to hundreds of fans waiting outside the venue. Dressed casually in jeans, a black T-shirt, and a white jacket, the Jawan star smiled, waved, and blew kisses as the crowd erupted with cheers after hosting a special fan meet in Mumbai.
He later shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, writing:
“Thank you for making my birthday memorable as always. I am filled with gratitude, and for those I couldn’t meet, I will see you soon. In theatres and on my next birthday. Love you.”
The actor later revealed that authorities had advised him not to appear for safety reasons. Still, the superstar made sure not to disappoint the people who’ve stood by him through every chapter of his career.

Explaining his absence from Mannat, Shah Rukh shared,
“I have been advised by the authorities that I will not be able to come out and greet all you wonderful people who have been waiting for me. My sincerest apologies to all of you, but I have been informed that this is for everyone’s safety due to crowd control concerns.”
He added with his trademark warmth,
“Thank you for your understanding, and believe me, I will miss seeing you more than you will miss me. I was looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing love. Love you all.”
