The sudden vanishing has stunned many, notably his father Hargit Singh, who anxiously seeks any leads for his son's safe return.

Gurucharan Singh, the actor known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular Indian television show 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,' has been missing since April 22, causing great concern among his family and fans. The news of his disappearance has left many in shock, and his family, especially his father Hargit Singh, is desperate for any information that could lead to his return.

In a recent interview with the Times of India, Hargit Singh opened up about the emotional turmoil the family has been experiencing since Gurucharan went missing. He expressed how the family is coping with the situation: “Our entire family is deeply troubled by this shocking incident. We don’t know how to cope and are anxiously waiting for some positive news from the police. All we can do is hope for his safe return.”

This unsettling situation began shortly after a seemingly normal family event. Gurucharan had posted a heartfelt photo on Instagram wishing his father a happy birthday, which was followed by a small family gathering at home. According to Hargit, there were no signs of anything amiss during the celebration, and Gurucharan was scheduled to return to Mumbai the next day. However, he never made it back and has not been heard from since.

The Delhi Police have been actively involved in the search for Gurucharan. According to a News18 report, a source from the Delhi Police noted that Gurucharan’s phone was found in the Palam area of Delhi, but tracking his exact location has been difficult. CCTV footage obtained by the police shows that Gurucharan switched e-rickshaws multiple times, suggesting that he may have been trying to conceal his route or destination.

Rohit Meena, DCP of South West Delhi, provided an update on the investigation, stating, "Our dedicated team is exploring all leads, and the technical team is actively working on the case. We are reviewing CCTV footage and have observed Gurucharan walking alone.”

Before his disappearance, Gurucharan had been living in Mumbai due to his work commitments but frequently visited his family in Delhi. His unexpected disappearance came at a time when he had been contemplating quitting the television series due to his father’s declining health, a decision that he had followed through with some time ago.

As the search continues, the family holds on to hope and urges anyone with information about Gurucharan's whereabouts to come forward and contact the authorities. The community and his colleagues from "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" have also rallied in support, spreading the word and keeping hopes alive for his safe return.

This incident has not only highlighted the uncertainties faced by individuals in the entertainment industry but also the importance of community and familial support during times of crisis. The family continues to wait anxiously for any news that might lead to Gurucharan being found and safely brought back home.
