Dharmendra health news: Hema Malini looks visibly sad as she steps out of hospital after meeting husband amidst health scare

The Indian Film & Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) has released a statement condemning the spread of false news, calling it “deeply distressing.” His statement said, "It is deeply distressing to see false news being spread about our beloved legend, Dharmendra Ji. Such baseless rumours are not only irresponsible but also deeply insensitive. They cause unnecessary pain to his family, friends, and millions of fans who hold him in the highest regard."

Hema Malini looked visibly distressed as she was spotted outside Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where veteran actor Dharmendra is currently admitted. She was accompanied by her daughter Esha Deol, and the two were seen sitting together in the car.

Sunny Deol, accompanied by his sons Karan and Rajveer Deol, arrived at the hospital to visit his father, Dharmendra.

Hema Malini dismisses Dharmendra death rumours, confirms he is recovering well

Actress Hema Malini has clarified that her husband, veteran actor Dharmendra, is stable and responding positively to treatment. She slammed false death reports circulating online, calling them “disrespectful and irresponsible,” and urged the media to respect the family’s privacy.

Her official tweet read as, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Veteran actor Dharmendra has been admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, leading to heightened security outside the premises. Rumours about his health and false death reports were circulating online, following which his family confirmed that the actor is recovering well.

Actor and son of Dharmendra, Bobby Deol reached Breach Candy Hospital on Tuesday morning to meet his father who is currently admitted to the hospital since the past 10 days and was put on ventilator yesterday.

The veteran actor is in hospital for the past 10 days and was put on ventilator yesterday. His family, including second wife Hema Malini, superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan were also seen visiting him at the Breach Candy hospital.

Dharmendra was seen in films like Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Dreamgirl, but it was the superhit and timeless Sholay (1975) that cemented his place in cinematic history.

The turning point in his professional life came Phool Aur Patthar in 1966, which saw him paired opposite the beautiful Meena Kumari. It was a film that established him as a powerful star.His shirtless look in the film made female fans drool over his good and rugged looks.

Dharmendra completed his graduation from Ramgarhia College in Phagwara, Punjab and then decided to move to Bombay (now Mumbai) to chase his dreams of becoming an actor.

Dharmendra was born Dharam Singh Deol on December 8, 1935, in Nasrali, a small pind in Punjab’s Ludhiana district. His father, Kewal Kishan Singh Deol, was a school teacher, and his mother, Satwant Kaur, a housewife. Dharmendra grew up in rural Punjab.
