Dharmendra’s life has always fascinated fans, not just because of his legendary career, but also because of his large and closely knit family. Most people instantly recognize the Deol legacy as the trio of Dharmendra, Sunny Deol, and Bobby Deol, along with Esha Deol who later joined the film industry. However, not everyone knows that Dharmendra is also the father of two daughters who have stayed entirely away from the public eye and the glamour of Bollywood.

Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954, much before he entered the films. With Prakash, he has four children: Sunny Deol (1956), Vijeta Deol (1962), Ajeeta Deol (1966), and Bobby Deol (1969). While Sunny and Bobby went on to become well-known names in cinema, their sisters Vijeta and Ajeeta chose private and independent lives, far from Mumbai’s spotlight.

Ajeeta Deol is the younger of the two. She moved to the United States and now resides in California. Reports suggest that she has followed a diversified career path, having been associated with psychology, teaching, academics, and dentistry at various points in her life. Ajeeta is married and is a mother to two daughters, Nikita and Priyanka. Both of them reportedly followed academic and medical fields, continuing the family’s tradition of excelling in whichever path they choose. While they do occasionally appear in family gatherings, they prefer staying away from the media and entertainment circles.

Vijeta Deol, on the other hand, lives in New Delhi. She is a businesswoman and serves as the director of Rajkamal Holdings and Trading Private Limited. Vijeta is married to Vivek Gill, a businessman, and they have two children, Prerna and Sahil. Interestingly, the Deols’ famous production house, Vijeta Films, is named after her—a quiet but significant reminder of the bond Dharmendra shares with all his children, whether they are in films or not. Under the Vijeta Films banner, Dharmendra and his sons produced popular films like Betaab, Ghayal, Barsaat, and later Apne and Yamla Pagla Deewana.

Later, Dharmendra married actress Hema Malini, and the couple has two daughters—Esha Deol and Ahana Deol. While Esha briefly worked in films, Ahana chose a quieter life away from the industry, much like her half-sisters.

Recently, Dharmendra’s health has been a matter of concern among fans. Amid circulating rumors, Esha Deol clarified that he is stable and recovering, urging everyone to avoid panic and pray for his well-being.
