Ikkis trailer is here

Agastya Nanda is all set to make his big-screen debut with the upcoming film, Ikkis. The film marks the final appearance of the late veteran actor Dharmendra. With just a few days left until the film's release, the makers have released a final trailer.

The new trailer featured a glimpse of the biographical drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who received posthumous recognition for his valour in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan war. The trailer also featured Arun Khetarpal's journey through military training, personal struggles, and memorable moments with his family.

A combination of military action and intimate tales may be seen in the trailer. It centres on Arun Khetarpal's feeling of obligation and his familial bonds, which influence his perspective on sacrifice and service. Additionally, Dharmendra's character is seen in the latest trailer discussing how Arun will always be 21.

Jaideep Ahlawat plays an army commander who considers Arun Khetarpal's lasting impact in the Sriram Raghavan-directed movie. Mohan Godara, Ekavali Khanna, Shree Bishnoi, and Sikandar Kher are some of the supporting cast members who play significant parts in the movie.

The story revolves around Arun Khetarpal, who, at the age of 21, became the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra in India due to his involvement in the 1971 battle. The movie seeks to provide a true story of his sacrifice and commitment.

Sachin Jigar composed the background soundtrack and music for the movie, while Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics. Ikkis is well-positioned to bring an important chapter of Indian military history to the big screen with its focus on a real-life combat hero and a cast led by Agastya.

Ikkis is slated to hit the theatres on January 1, 2026.
