TV actors Mugdha Chaphekar and Ravish Desai have been together for around nine years and have captivated their fans by sharing their sweet, cozy moments on social media. However, they recently left everyone in shock with a separation announcement.
Ravish took to his Instagram and shared an official statement revealing that they have parted ways. He wrote, “After much contemplation and thought, Mugdha and I decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. It’s been more than a year now.”
The statement continued, “We have had a beautiful journey together that of love, friendship and respect, and that would continue all our lives.” The actor requested privacy and support from his fans and the media.
The actor added, “We request our beloved fans, well-wishers, and the media to be kind and supportive and give us the privacy we need to heal. Kindly do not believe in any false stories and statements. Thank you for your love and support.”
The now ex-couple got married in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai in December 2016. However, after spending almost a decade together, the couple revealed that they have been living separately for over a year and have mutually agreed to go their separate ways.
On the work front, Mugdha Chaphekar is known for her role as Prachi Mehra Kohli in the popular TV show Kumkum Bhagya.

Meanwhile, Ravish Desai has showcased his talent across various platforms, featuring in several well-known shows. His notable works include appearances in Made In Heaven, She (Season 2), and Scoop. He has also been part of the TV anthology Yeh Hai Aashiqui.
He was last seen in the sports-drama Vijay 69, which featured a stellar cast, including Anupam Kher, Chunky Panday, and Mihir Ahuja.
