The makers have recently released an intriguing glimpse into the upcoming film. The trailer showcased how the characters’ choices in the ultimate test of life would define them as either heroes or villains.
Netflix took to its official Instagram account and shared the trailer of Test. The two minutes and 50 seconds trailer starts with Nayanthara introducing her childhood friend, a cricketer played by Siddharth, to her husband, a scientist played by Madhavan. However, she surprisingly introduces the cricketer as a canteen owner.
The trailer delves deeper into the challenges faced by Madhavan and Nayanthara's married life as they pursue their careers. Meanwhile, Siddharth's character struggles to balance his personal and professional life. As their lives become increasingly entangled, every decision and sacrifice propels them towards a pivotal moment that will test their lives forever.
Besides Nayanthara and R Madhavan, Test features an ensemble cast including Siddharth and Meera Jasmine in the key roles. The film also features Kaali Venkat, Nassar, and Vinay Varma in supporting roles.

The upcoming film is directed by S Sashikanth and produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra under YNOT Studios. The upcoming film marks Sashikanth's directorial debut and Jasmine's return to Tamil cinema after a decade-long hiatus. Test will be available to stream on Netflix on April 4.
