Salman Khan firing case update: The two suspects sent to custody till April 25

The two accused arrested in connection with the firing at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai, were produced in court today (April 16) and have been sent to custody till April 25. The two shooters identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal were arrested in Bhuj last night and were brought to Mumbai today.

The two accused arrested in connection with the firing at Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai, were produced in court today (April 16) and have been sent to custody till April 25. The two shooters identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal on were arrested in Bhuj last night and were brought to Mumbai by the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police today.

Lakhmi Gautam, Joint Commissioner of Police (Mumbai Crime) addressed a press conference in Mumbai and revealed details of their operation.

He also revealed that Five rounds were fired at the actor’s residence situated in Mumbai’s high-end Bandra area. Lakhmi Gautam said that the firing incident occurred at 4:50 am on Sunday (April 14) and the two bike-borne assailants were located in Bhuj district.

He also told the media that the gunmen had done a recce of Salman Khan’s house thrice and that they will reveal more details of the incident as they interrogate the accused.

“Total five rounds were fired by the accused who were sitting on the motorcycle. Later on during the day, Anmol Bishnoi also wrote on Facebook account regarding this incident. And his tone is threatening and he has basically written it on the particular incident,” said Lakhmi.

He said that in all 12 teams of the Crime Branch were constituted and they were given different tasks. And it was on the basis of human intelligence and technical intelligence that they came to know that the accused may be somewhere in the Bhuj district in Gujarat.

The Mumbai crime branch officers reached Nakhatrana, which is 50 km from Bhuj and with the help of local police they were able to arrest the accused.

“Today morning the two accused were brought to Mumbai, arrested and then produced in court. Ther honourable court has given the PCR up to April 24. These are the basic facts about the FIR. They have been recently arrested and are to be subjected to interrogation and enquiry. We have only the primary information. All the facts that will be revealed as we investigate the case. Primarily they have done recce of the house three times. It may be corrected on further investigation,” he said.

Anmol Bishnoi has taken responsibility for the firing incident hours after the firing on Sunday and he said it was just a trailer.

One of the accused works for Rohit Godara gang, who works in association with Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. He is operating from Canada nowadays.
