Galaxy Apartment Shooting: Mumbai Police arrest both accused for firing gunshots outside Salman Khan's house

Arrested accused identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, said Mumbai Crime Branch. According to police reports, the assailants approached Galaxy Apartment via the Bandra Bandstand route, both of them wearing helmets. They fired two rounds towards the balcony of the actor's first-floor apartment, which was shielded by a curtain.

On April 14 early morning, the two assailants fired gunshots outside Khan's Bandra home - Galaxy Apartments.

The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested both accused involved in firing gunshots outside actor Salman Khan's house on April 14th. The two assailants, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended on April 16th in Gujarat's Bhuj. The Mumbai Crime Branch has confirmed the arrest of both accused. The incident occurred in the early morning of April 14th when the accused fired gunshots outside Khan's Bandra home, Galaxy Apartments.

According to a report in The Times of India, one of the gunmen is wanted in many killings and robberies in Haryana. He was the main suspect in the killing of a businessman named Sachin Munjal in March this year.

An alleged claim of responsibility for the shooting incident outside Salman Khan's residence surfaced in a Facebook post attributed to Anmol Bishnoi.

According to police reports, the assailants approached Galaxy Apartment via the Bandra Bandstand route, both of them wearing helmets. They fired two rounds towards the balcony of the actor's first-floor apartment, which was shielded by a curtain. Another bullet struck a spot on the wall adjacent to the balcony, while two additional rounds were fired into the air. During the subsequent examination of the scene, authorities discovered five bullet casings and a live round.

Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz has issued a statement on the behalf of the Khan family and said that the ‘family has been taken aback by this shocking incident.’

In a note on his social media account, Arbaaz wrote: “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected which is not true and these views should not be taken seriously. No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support.”
