Ahaan Panday opens up about relationship rumours with Saiyaara co-star Aneet padda

He also spoke about a Paulo Coelho quote that connected them even before the film came out.

Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, who shot to fame for their sparkling chemistry in Mohit Suri's hit film Saiyaara, have been making headlines due to ongoing rumours that they’re dating in real life. Now, Ahaan has finally addressed all the speculation.

In a conversation with GQ, when asked about his bond with Aneet, Ahaan said, “Aneet is my best friend. The whole internet thinks we’re together, but we’re not. Chemistry isn’t always romantic; it’s about comfort, safety, and being seen. We’ve both made each other feel that. Even though she’s not my girlfriend, I’ll never have a bond like I have with Aneet.”

He also spoke about a Paulo Coelho quote that connected them even before the film came out. “Before Saiyaara, we both loved this Paulo Coelho quote: ‘It’s the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.’ We dreamed this together, and it came true. What we’ve shared is so special.”

Despite how close they are, Ahaan made it clear that he is single, adding that his love language is acts of service and grand gestures.

Recently, filmmaker Karan Johar appeared on Sania Mirza’s podcast Serving It Up With Sania, where he addressed the dating chatter around Ahaan and Aneet. He called them “Bollywood’s next It couple,” while also mentioning that they haven’t made anything official yet.

Saiyaara turned out to be a massive box-office success, earning over Rs 500 crore worldwide, and both Ahaan and Aneet seem to have made an impressive start with their big-screen debuts.

For those who may not know, Ahaan Panday’s next film is an action project directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by YRF, starring Sharvari and reportedly Aaishvary Thackeray as well. Aneet Padda, meanwhile, will appear in Shakti Shalini, the sixth film in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
