Actor and producer Prithviraj Sukumaran is celebrating Onam with his family. He also took time to wish his fans and followers on the festivity.

Prithviraj took to his Instagram and shared a photo with his wife, Supriya Menon.

Alongside the photo, he wished his fans, “Happy Onam!” adding a sunflower and a heart emoji.

Supriya complimented him in a stunning saree with a golden border. She elevated her look with gold jewellery. The couple completed their look with a bright smile.

Prithviraj and Supriya met for the first time in 2006 during a media interview. Supriya, a journalist, interviewed Prithviraj for a story on the Malayalam film industry. The couple sparked an instant romance and eventually grew closer.

The couple tied the knot on April 25, 2011, in a private ceremony held in Palakkad. Prithviraj and Supriya welcomed their daughter, Prithviraj and Supriya, in 2014.

On the work front, Prithviraj is currently gearing up for his highly anticipated film Vilayath Buddha, which has been delayed multiple times. The makers have recently announced that the teaser of the film will be released on September 5.

Directed by Jayan Nambiar, Vilayath Buddha is an adaptation of GR Indugopan’s acclaimed novel of the same name. The film is produced by Urvashi Theatres, with Indugopan and Rajesh Pinnadan behind the screenplay. The film also stars Anu Mohan, Priyamvada Krishnan, Kottayam Ramesh, and Teejay Arunasalam in supporting roles.

Vilayath Buddha revolves around a power struggle between Bhaskaran Master, played by Shammy Thilakan, and his former protege Double Mohanan, played by Prithviraj, over the ownership of a sandalwood tree.
