Drake made Lamar his number one enemy with the culmination of the fiery war of words, but it seems that the former has gotten himself on the hit-list of the media industry too.
The latest discovery thats been going viral is the involvement of the famed American hip-hop journalist, Elliot Wilson in their slanging match.
On a recent episode of the Joe Budden Podcast, hip-hop journalist Elliott Wilson disclosed some exclusive insights from his conversations with Drake. The virtual exchange has stirred significant speculation, as Drake is rumored to believe that Wilson, founder of Rap Radar, has been leaking information to his hip-hop adversary, Kendrick Lamar.

Wilson provided a glimpse into their text exchanges but kept many details under wraps. The former XXL editor-in-chief revealed that when he inquired about Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Family Matters,” Drake responded with a “rat emoji,” hinting at his mistrust.
“He sent me something, but I can't say what he sent me because if I tell you what he sent me, it reflects what he sent me,” said Wilson.

Wilson shared his thoughts on the matter, pondering why Drake might have insinuated that he was "ratting out" the 'Hotline Bling' artist to Kendrick Lamar. Delving deeper into the situation, he pointed out that during the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick, he happened to be in Venice at the same time as the Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper. This detail seemed to support the rumored storyline that he had aligned himself with the 'Not Like Us' star.
“I think he started to think like Kendrick’s in Venice you’re in Venice like he started to view it like I’m just really against him,” Wilson explained.
When Wilson tried to confirm the release of Drake’s diss “Family Matters,” Drake hit him back with a text nonchalant text and a rat emoji. “So when he dropped ‘Family Matters,’ I was like, ‘Yo you dropping this tonight?’ He hit me back like, ‘Yeah, yeah, whatever lol,’ and then he sent me a rat emoji.”
Wilson further added that the 6-God has blocked him on social media and advised him to avoid setting foot in Toronto. "He told me I couldn't go back to Toronto. OG made it clear that I wasn't welcome in the 6," Wilson explained.
